My HUMAC story

I thought I would share my story, because I think this product deserves some mention. I’ve been on and off various medicines and nothing brought me closer to healing the wounds until I started taking HUMAC regularly. I am sure that if it would not be for the help of my doctors and nurses, the medicines, diet adjustment and especially the support of my family, HUMAC alone would not save my foot, but I am convinced that without HUMAC, I would still be in the same predicament or worse.

I thought I would share my story, because I think this product deserves some mention. I have type II diabetes and have been battling an open wound on my right foot around my big toe since 2014 and a second wound on the side of my right foot since 2018. I have been on and off anti-biotics since the first wound began and other medications even before the wounds developed. From 2014 to 2020, I was hospitalized three times and was on a PICC line twice (12 weeks & 6 weeks). The situation was so bad that I had a bone infection and my foot became deformed.

To make a long story short, in the summer of 2019, the area around my toe got so bad that doctors as well as family members were talking about a possible amputation of the big toe and the area around it. Then my son introduced me to HUMAC, he said that he heard some stories of it helping people with different health problems; this was early August of 2019. I wasn’t expecting much, needless to say, I added it to my daily dose of pills whether medicines or vitamins. I don’t even recall how it happened but the would around my big toe started to rapidly heal. Where by the end of October, the wound was completely sealed up and healed. However, this was still too early for celebration, as the second wound on the right side of my foot below the small toe began to get worse. According to doctors, because of the previous bone infection (hence the picc line of 12 weeks) and deformed bones in my foot, it created a lot of pressure points which made me foot prone to wounds. After the wound around the toe healed, a couple weeks later the other bruise turned into a fully open wound and I felt like this ordeal will never end. Regardless, I continued with the regular doctor visits, oral anti-biotics (pretty much for most of the whole year from October of 2019 to October of 2020), other medications as well as HUMAC and strict diet adjustments.

The regular doctor visits with the treatment of the wound peaked in the summer of 2020 when my the wound on my foot underwent debridement. After this procedure, the healing process took a significant turn for the better. In October of 2020 I reached my first major milestone, I was able to shower for the first time in 7 years without the use of the rubber sleeve for my foot to protect it from getting wet. I had no more open wounds on my feet. They were completely healed. The summer of 2021 was very special for me because I was able to once again go to the beach and swim in the lake at my favorite spot Long Point on Lake Erie.

While my treatment was complex, consisting of numerous medicines, doctor visits for wound care, constant monitoring of my diet, I am convinced that the introduction of HUMAC into my life played a significant role in getting my diabetes under control and healing my diabetes foot. Since 2014, I’ve been on and off various medicines and nothing brought me closer to healing the wounds until I started taking HUMAC regularly. I am sure that if it would not be for the help of my doctors and nurses, the medicines, diet adjustment and especially the support of my family, HUMAC alone would not save my foot, but I am convinced that without HUMAC, I would still be in the same predicament or worse. Thank you HUMAC and I hope it helps other people as much as it has helped me.
